Cymera Convention, Edinburgh 5-7 June 2026
Adrian had a great time at Cymera, Scotland's only festival of science fiction, fantasy and horror in Edinburgh on the weekend of 5-7 June, 2026.
He did a reading, took part in a panel with Fonda Lee and Claire North with Dave Goodman as moderator, signed books ,and chatted with fans about all things science fiction and fantasy.
It was such a friendly and welcoming festival. Thank you to all Festival Committee and wonderful volunteers for a fabulous weekend.
Green City Wars - UK Tour 24-26 June 2026
Adrian spent the end of June touring around the UK with scify author and friend, Peter Hamilton, visiting Forbidden Planet and Waterstones stores in Trafalgar Square, London, Waterstones Canterbury and Waterstones Lincoln. It was great to be in conversation about the new releases with author, Ben Shepherd, with staff at Waterstones events and meet lots of science fiction and fantasy fans around the country.

Rosebud Books, Finland, 9 July 2026
Adrian's first part of his Finland tour (9 July 2026) stopped at Helsinki where he was invited by Rosebud Books to launch the very first translation of his work into Finnish. He took part in a live-streamed conversation with the wonderful Iida Simes to help launch the translated work, Lukinvalo (Spiderlight) which was translated by J. Pekka Mäkelä. It was great to chat with everyone at Rosebud and J. Pekka Mäkelä and his wife over dinner after the event. Who knows what may now be in the pipeline!
The event was very well attended and those present were able to ask questions of Adrian and get books signed. Rosebud Books put on the most impressive display of Adrian's work ever seen with some rare appearances of some of his back catalogue for some lucky purchasers!
FinnCon, 10-13 July 2026
The second part of his Finland tour (10-13 July 2026) took place in Turku at FinnCon 2026. Adrian had a packed weekend where he enjoyed taking part in several panels, did three readings, chatted in a meet and greet with fans, engaged in two signing sessions and had much enjoyment from the convention in general. Everyone was superbly kind, welcoming and lovely in every way but most thanks go to the Convention organisers, the staff at Rosebud Books, and particularly to Rasmus, Adrian's host and event driver, for making the visit so easy, joyful and pleasant.
